Improving Perception of Customer Security

       TRB will host a webinar on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern that will highlight practical strategies and real-world experiences from transit agency leaders who have taken action to strengthen security and reduce the likelihood of assaults. The session will feature findings and tools from two TCRP studies, including a transit security guide, a mitigation interactive matrix, and a social media toolkit designed to support agencies in their efforts. Presenters will share their research and perspectives and discuss lessons learned from implementing measures to improve security for passengers and transit workers.
