This virtual training course will introduce inspectors to the regulatory and transportation history of crude oil and current compliance requirements specific to crude oil in bulk packaging. Prior to attending this training, students should already have knowledge of the hazardous materials table, shipping papers, marking, labeling and placarding. The course will include instruction and a post-test. This course WILL NOT cover Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 172 in detail but will provide a high-level overview of the regulations.
