OTA Institute: Periodic Inspection Training
This course has been developed to meet the requirements of FMCSR 396.19 and will include the following topics:
- Comprehensive coverage of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation manual
- Thorough examination of inspection criteria as per 49 CFR Part 393
- In-depth analysis of inspection criteria outlined in 49 CFR Appendix G
- Comparison of Appendix G with roadside inspection criteria
- Understanding the disparities between Appendix G and the CVSA Out of Service criteria.
