CSA evaluates the safety of individual motor carriers by considering all safety based roadside inspection violations, not just out-of-service violations, as well as state-reported crashes, using 24 months of performance data. Drivers, technicians and safety and maintenance supervisors all need to take a hands-on approach to fleet safety since all roadside inspection violations are factored into a carrier's safety rating.
This 5-hour training will not only cover roadside inspection violations, it will challenge attendees to recognize them with practical, hands-on experience during the training. By taking on the role of the inspector, attendees won't just think they understand violations, they will be certain they do. With instruction from a master technician and commercial vehicle enforcement inspectors, participants will know exactly how their vehicles will fare during a roadside inspection.
