Target Audience:
Maintenance Technicians, Motor Carriers, Passenger Carriers, Driver Trainers Safety
personnel, Compliance personnel, administration support, and owner operators.
Companies utilizing pickups with trailers or one ton pickups all the way up to semi tractors and
trailers in the furtherance of their business are required annually complete a Periodic
Inspection on all vehicles and trailers used to ensure they are roadworthy and in full
compliance of the safety regulations.
All Inspectors are required to be properly qualified and trained by the company and the
qualification must be maintained on file at the company’s office. Additionally, all
outside/3rd party inspector qualifications must be confirmed and verified prior to using
any 3rd party inspector.
Description:
This seminar covers the elements of the DOT Annual Vehicle Inspection, completion of
the Periodic Inspection and Decals. Learn the regulatory requirements of an Annual
Vehicle Inspection and Appendix G. Inspectors/Technicians will learn what is required for
